Performance introduction of tungsten steel nozzle

Tungsten steel nozzle is a nozzle produced from tungsten steel material. Because tungsten steel has high hardness and high wear resistance, tungsten steel nozzles produced from tungsten steel have a longer life than nozzles of other materials.

Tungsten steel material refers to the alloy material obtained by mixing, pressing and sintering forming of WC and Co powder as main raw materials, using powder metallurgy method through a series of processing techniques. It has the
characteristics of hardness, high strength, corrosion resistance and stainless.

Tungsten steel with high hardness and wear resistance shall be made according to ISO standard. This classification is based on the material category of the workpiece (P, m, K, N, s, H). Different tungsten steel materials have different uses, such as turning, milling, hole processing, thread processing, slot cutting, etc. Tungsten steel has high hardness and wear resistance, which is often used to make metal cutting tools, measuring tools, molds, etc. Generally, when the material hardness is high, the wear resistance is also high; when the bending strength is high, the impact toughness is also high. However, the higher the hardness of the material, the lower the bending strength and impact toughness.

The composition ratio of the tungsten steel nozzle is about 18% tungsten. The hardness of the high-hardness and high-wear-resistant tungsten steel is Vickers 10K, second only to diamond. Because of this, the tungsten steel nozzle has the
characteristics of not being easily worn. High hardness and wear-resistant tungsten steel is used to produce suction nozzles, lathe tools, impact drill bits, glass cutter bits, and ceramic tile cutters. The tungsten steel nozzle has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, good strength and toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance, especially its high hardness and wear resistance, even at 500 ℃, it basically remains Change, it still has a high hardness at 1000 ℃.

The nozzle used in LED packaging can overcome the short life of materials such as bakelite nozzles and rubber nozzles, and due to its plasticity, it can be made into a tungsten steel nozzle with a smaller inner hole. Take the Yamaha YG100 nozzle core 211A,212A,213A,214A,215A,216A,219A as an example. When this tungsten steel nozzle is used to produce small-sized LEDs, it overcomes the fact that the wafer is too small, resulting in the appearance of broken edges and dark jumps on the edges of the crystal grains, which significantly reduces the IR defect rate of the LED.
